Chevron Pillow

Made this gray and white chevron square pillow from the extra fabric from the pouch I made. I tried to use my sewing machine - which was not the best decision. I ended up liking the one side I hand sewed the best, even though it took so long! It's kind of small but it's soft haha. :)

Bow Tie Toy

Made this little toy for Roger from scraps of fabric. Looks like a little bow tie. Its stuffed and hand stitched. He will probably have it torn apart in a few days... Doggone it.

Chevron Aqua Sparkle Box

Cute little aqua storage box I picked up at Joann's fabric for $4. I got some glitter and decided that a chevron pattern would be cute. Because I made this the same time as that snowy letter, I used the K to make the chevron lines! (so perfect!)

^^^ The letter K I had was a perfect template for the chevron pattern!

Finished product :)

Snowy Letter

This was my first attempt at working with glitter. It didn't go as well as I hoped because the glitter I chose was more fluffy than sparkly. But nonetheless I think it turned out okay for a first try. It's hanging on my bedroom door! Hope the snow falls soon so the lawn matches my K. <3 Snow!

Halloween Photobooth!

At my Halloween party I set up a "photobooth" type thing! I put black wrapping paper all over one wall and put my camera on a tripod on the opposing wall. People took pictures all night! Such a great way to make taking pictures fun, and not tacky or forced. I think everyone had a good time with this. I had over 170 good photos taken. Memories for a lifetime. Here's just a few of my favorites!!!
(I was a Ringmaster) =^.^=

My Room

Just some pics of my room :) Floating book-shelves make an appearance! Also I love my pillows (even though I bought them).

Chevron Zipper Pouch

I hand sewed this cute little bag. I bought a 'natural' color 7" zipper and some printed duck canvas in gray and tan chevron. I watched a few youtube videos and then went at it. A little under two hours later and many hand stitches might I add, this little guy was finished! It's super sturdy and totally functional  You can't see any seams and the thread matches to top it off! I really love this thing. Cost under $5 to make too! It's currently holding some chapstick, headphones, my iPod, and mints :)
